Christchurch meet!

You are cordially invited to a Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of NZ Member’s Meeting on Thursday 21st July, from 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm, in the Ilam Seminar Room of Scion, in the Forestry Building, Canterbury University.

Drive in to Forestry Road, past the Hard Hat Café tuck shop, and you'll see a big car park to your right. Park in there and wander over to the Forestry Building directly opposite the car park (Scion is up the ramp across the atrium). You don't need parking permits after 5pm.  Our hosts are HFESNZ members Richard Parker and Brionny Hooper.

We will get together from 6.30 to share pizza’s, a cuppa and a chat.  From 7.00 we will have presentations – from HFESNZ Chairperson Marion Edwin, about current society activities and direction, and what is happening with HASANZ – the Health and Safety Association of NZ. You will also get to meet two committee members, Brionny Hooper and Leanne Hunter. Then Richard Parker will present on some of his human factors/ergonomics work in wild lands fire-fighting and forestry.

Please RSVP to Brionny Hooper, Human Factors Scientist, Scion -
