What does Ergonomics mean?
The word ergonomics derives from the Greek words 'ergon' (meaning work) and 'nomos' (meaning laws).

Ergonomics is the scientific discipline concerned with the fundamental understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system, and the application of appropriate methods, theory and data to improve human well-being and overall system performance.

Ergonomics is also referred to as human factors or human factors engineering.
