NZES Aims

The New Zealand Ergonomics Society exists to:
- promote the application of ergonomics knowledge;
- advance ergonomics research and education; and
- increase public awareness of ergonomics.

Services to members
Newsletter:
The Society's newsletter, Ergonomics New Zealand is published quarterly with articles and news items.

Conferences:
These are organised every 18 months. Conference proceedings are published.

Regional Groups:
Groups are active in Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Groups meet for workplace visits and discussions.

Member Network:
A booklet containing a list of members is published annually. This booklet contains members' contact addresses, and their areas of interest. Members come from a range of professional backgrounds including academics,engineers,industrial designers,medical practitioners, occupational health nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists, work study practitioners, computer scientists, and managers.
